What is HubCast?
HubCast brings together a community of print service providers (PSPs), sellers (subscribers) and users to enable the emerging “distribute, then print” model on a global scale. HubCast delivers this capability through its network of PSPs, located around the world in major metropolitan areas, allowing us to provide local delivery with as fast as next-day/same-day service.
Why HubCast?
The opportunity for “distribute, then print” is enormous. Based on current industry estimates, the market exceeds $50 billion annually for sales and marketing collateral. HubCast’s focus is brand-sensitive brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, posters and similar collateral. It’s the industry’s fastest-growing segment, driven by technological speed and cost competitiveness afforded by the process.
HubCast’s PSP network comprises cities across North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. This vast network of production sites enables users from across the world to print and deliver locally to the destination for sales and marketing collateral. This enables PSPs to print and deliver with as fast as next-day/same-day service globally and to meet the delivery, cost, quality and environmental requirements of corporations of all sizes – from small businesses to multinational enterprises.
What are the benefits as a PSP to being part of the HubCast network?
The value proposition to PSPs is extraordinary. By participating in the huge opportunity represented by the “distribute then print” model, you enjoy the following benefits: 1. Print work produced on the HubCast network represents incremental work and improved utilization of your presses. Grow your revenues and profits. 2. This incremental work is easy to produce. It typically falls into standard product, or SKU, sets. The files are “HubCast-ready” and require no review or change. 3. The work requires no selling – or the associated costs – on your part. Users and subscribers from around the world place orders with HubCast which we then delivered to your presses. 4. HubCast pays you in five days following satisfactory delivery of the order. How’s that for fast?
What else will HubCast do for us?
Our quality management and color management experts come on-site to install HubCast offerings and train you on the principles of Six Sigma and color science. HubCasting works globally because of our ability to produce and deliver when time is of the essence, around the world or around the corner, for companies who care about brand and color consistency. We also update you regularly through a quarterly newsletter that features success stories from PSPs around the world, as well as the newest software releases and best practices we’ve developed.
Why should I become a HubCast PSP?
- Get incremental work with no selling costs
- Grow your revenues and profits
- Become part of the hottest trend in print: the “distribute, then print” business model
What does it cost me to become a member of the HubCast network?
To reserve your slot, schedule on-site installation of our equipment, and receive expert training on Six Sigma and color management science, HubCast charges a total of $5,000. Half of this is due up-front. The other half is due after you’ve produced 20 transactions from across the HubCast network.
What are my responsibilities?
- Identify those folks within your operation who will be HubCasting and make them available for HubCast training.
- Provide us with your pricing for the selected SKUs so our system can automatically provide potential users the cost, for example, to produce and locally deliver 50 16-page brochures each in Shanghai (China), London (UK) and Los Angeles (US).
Do I qualify?
Are you looking for improved capacity utilization across the year? Are you an Indigo 3000/5000 digital printer? Are you located in or near a major metropolitan area across the world? If so, you’re on your way to being qualified.
How do I get paid?
Five days. Not bad, eh?
Can I order work on behalf of my clients on the HubCast network?
Sure. We call these “retail” orders and it’s as simple as calling our 800 number. Just like you do if you produce the work yourself, you earn a margin on work ordered by you but produced and delivered by other HubCast PSPs around the world.
